Cello Teacher<\/h6>

Fabrice Sottas<\/h3><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
Fabrice Sottas began playing the cello at the Geneva Conservatory before continuing his studies at the Glenn Gould Professional School in Toronto, the Richard-Strauss Conservatory, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, and the Geneva University of Music. During this time, he was awarded the Andr\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ois Marescotti Foundation Prize from the city of Carouge. <\/p>\n

After his studies, Fabrice was admitted to the Bavarian Orchestra Academy and was engaged as a volunteer at the orchestra of the National Theater of Darmstadt. He also worked as a substitute member with the Munich Symphony Orchestra and the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra before securing a position as a cellist with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n

\"\"Returning to Geneva in 2010, he divided his musical career between chamber music, cello teaching, and collaborations with various orchestras, including the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. He taught cello at the International School of Geneva from 2011 to 2019, at the Vincent d\u2019Indy School of Music in Montreal from 2020 to 2023, and at the St\u00e4dtische Sing- und Musikschule in Munich in 2023 and 2024. Fabrice has been back in Geneva since 2024.<\/p>\n

He now lives and works in Geneva, where he continues to guide young students, children, and adults in their cello learning journey with enthusiasm. Thanks to his extensive experience with both beginners and advanced players, he tailors his lessons to the specific needs of his students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
