Musical Exploration (5-7 years)

Course Start: September 11, 2024

from CHF 230.-/month

Course Description

This course is specially designed for young children, offering a playful and interactive immersion into the world of music. Divided into two 30-minute segments, the course combines fundamental musical training with instrumental exploration.

First half-hour: musical initiation

During the first part, students follow a personalized program that strengthens their rhythmic and vocal skills while introducing the basics of music theory using various educational tools.

Second half-hour: practical instrument learning

The second part is dedicated to the practical learning of various instruments in a semi-private environment, limited to two or three students per group. Children start with the guitar and the recorder before progressing to the cello and piano, allowing for a complete and in-depth exploration of each instrument.

Instrument demonstration workshops

In addition, the different families of symphony orchestra instruments are discovered through demonstration workshops, further enriching the learning experience. All necessary instruments are provided during the course, except for the recorder.

At the end of the school year, students will have explored several instruments, enabling them to make a more informed choice for continuing their musical education.

Two performances per year

As part of this course, students will participate in two performances per school year.
