Objective

With 35 years of experience in piano teaching, our piano course aims to help students master the instrument quickly while developing their expressive and musical abilities.

The teaching is personalized according to each student’s capabilities and objectives, ensuring optimal progress. Enjoyment is essential in the learning process, and both the teaching method and repertoire selection are designed to maintain enthusiasm and motivation.

The Piano Course Focuses On:
  • Development of Piano Technique: Adapted to the specific requirements of each piece in the repertoire.
  • Musical and Expressive Sensitivity: Improving the ability to move and captivate an audience.
  • Musical Creativity: Encouraging interpretation, improvisation, and composition for those who are interested.
  • Musical Listening Skills: Developing external, internal, melodic, polyphonic, and harmonic listening. Benefits include:
    • An emotional connection with music and sound.
    • A singing and vibrant sound.
    • Clear and expressive interpretation.
    • Resolution of numerous technical challenges.
Our Method

The traditional approach, which consists of endlessly repeating the same passages until they are memorized through repetition, often leads to frustration and stagnation. Not only does this method make playing mechanical and less expressive, but it also results in quickly forgetting pieces, making the invested time and effort almost useless.

For this reason, we have developed a comprehensive and innovative piano method suitable for both beginners and advanced students. This method builds on strong foundations and ensures fast and steady progress. We also place great emphasis on practicing methodology at home. A good study approach—intelligent, efficient, and based on reflection, listening, and expression in a supportive environment—significantly enhances pianistic progress.

What a Piano Lesson Includes

Lessons include theoretical aspects, sight-reading, and an introduction to improvisation. Therefore, it is not necessary to take additional courses in music theory, harmony, or sight-reading. For students interested, a larger portion of the lesson can be dedicated to improvisation and composition once basic harmony concepts have been acquired.
