Course description
As a plucked string instrument, the guitar is distinguished by its soft, warm sound, which can also become intense and clear. It’s an instrument that has always fascinated and seduced throughout history. This guitar course is suitable for students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced.

About the Teacher
Manuel Salgueiro Mendes Toucinho, a talented guitarist, began his musical studies at the age of 6 with his father. He received extensive training at the Academia de Música e Dança do Fundão and the University of Évora, where he achieved top grades. In 2021, he started a master’s degree in musical performance at the Geneva Haute École de Musique, followed by a master’s in pedagogy in 2024. Winner of 29 international awards, he maintains an active artistic career as a soloist and as a member of the Concordis Guitar Quartet and MP GuitarDuo. He plays guitars by Zbigniew Gnatek and is sponsored by the Savarez brand.

Registration fees
The registration fee is CHF 50.- per year and per family.
Family Discount
A 15% discount for the second child and 20% discount for the third child is granted when multiple members of the same family are enrolled at CORNAVIN MUSIC CENTER
Trial Lesson
The CORNAVIN MUSIC CENTER offers the possibility of taking a trial lesson with no obligation. This lesson is also an opportunity for the teacher to assess the student’s piano and musical skills in order to propose a suitable study plan. The trial lesson lasts 45 minutes (30 minutes for children).
