Emiliano Quaranta
Born in the city of Rosario (Argentina), Emiliano Quaranta has been for many years a guitar teacher at the Music School of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the University U.N.R. (Argentina).
He obtained his guitar teaching license under the direction of Eduardo Isaac. He perfected his guitar playing in Italy with Paolo Pegoraro of the Tarrega Academy and took courses in baroque music interpretation with Miguel de Olaso, Federico Ciancio and Eduardo Egüez. In order to complete his training, he has attended numerous seminars and master classes with the guitarists Eduardo Fernández, Pablo Márquez, Carlo Marchione, Lorenzo Micheli, José Antonio Escobar and Ricardo Gallén.
He has won prizes in various competitions in Argentina, Uruguay and Italy. He won first prize at the 43rd Concorso Nazionale di Chitarra “M.G. Ansaldi”, second prize at the Mozarteum competition in the city of Santa Fe and third place at the International Città di Fiuggi competition.
He performs as a soloist and with various ensembles in many concert halls, especially abroad.
